Detta är Manaus Grand old Lady och är det klassiska hotellet att bo på innan man reser ut i regnskogen. Hotellet ligger mycket vackert vid Amazonasfloden och 10 km från Manaus flygplats. Utanför hotellet ligger Tropical Pier där flodbåtarna kastar loss för sina turer på Amazonasfloden. Hotellet kallar sig femstjärnigt och det har det varit en gång i tiden. Idag är det tyvärr lite slitet även om man påbörjat renovering av en del områden. Det är dock ett intressant val för dig som vill känna historiens vingslag och praktiskt om ni skall resa på kryssning.
