SambaTravel suggests hotels, pousadas and lodges based on your preferences. We help with neighbourhoods, room types and inclusions, so you do not have to work through long hotel lists yourself.

Accommodation serves different purposes along the way. In a city, location may come first, while a lodge stay may centre on the property and its activities. We start with how you want to spend your time and help you allocate your accommodation budget accordingly.

Start with how you like to stay

Tell us what matters to you: quiet, a view, a pool, restaurants nearby or a particular neighbourhood. That gives us more to work with than a star rating alone.

We consider your preferences alongside your budget and itinerary, and explain why we recommend a particular property.

Location needs to be considered in relation to your plans. Being close to a landmark does not necessarily mean a convenient base for evenings, restaurants and transport. If you want to explore independently on foot, it helps to know that from the outset. We also consider the length of your stay: a single overnight stop and a full week can call for quite different choices.

Different places to stay along the way

A city hotel, a coastal pousada and a nature lodge serve different purposes. We help you choose between them and check how to get there and what is nearby.

For lodges, we also check which meals, activities and transfers are included in the proposed stay.

A lodge package should be compared as a whole, since accommodation, guiding and meals may be included in one arrangement. A lower nightly rate does not necessarily mean a lower overall cost. We explain what is included and what needs to be added, helping you make a more meaningful comparison between properties with different arrangements.

Room types and booking conditions

We compare the room category offered, meals, payment terms and cancellation options. For families, we also need to know how you would like to share the rooms.

We check specific requests, such as separate beds or step-free access, with the property.

For families, the room layout can matter as much as its size. A family room, two separate rooms and connecting rooms create different arrangements for your stay. Tell us if stairs, noise or accessibility affect your choice. We distinguish between a confirmed room category and requests that the property has not yet been able to confirm.
