Pantanal Jaguar & Wildlife Tour

Den här kompletta turen inkluderar två nätter i Jaguarens rike runt lodgen Jaguar Camp där ni också övernattar. De första dagarna är kocentrerade på att hitta den skygga jaguaren. Sedan reser ni till en Wildlife Lodge för guidade turer för att uppleva Pantanals alla växter, djur och fantasiska landskap.

 

Dag 1 Cuiabá/Jaguar Camp

Transfer & Jaguar Operation

Pick up at Cuiabá in the early morning for transfer to the Pantanal. The tour starts with
the Transpantaneira Road – the entrance to the Pantanal stunning fauna and flora.
Arrival at the lodge for lunch.

In the early afternoon, a trip on our exclusive jaguar searching boat with both our expert boatman and guide searching for all kinds of wildlife, but with main focus on jaguars and river otters.

Dinner and overnight at the Jaguar Camp.

 

Dag 2 Jaguar Camp

Full day Jaguar Operation

An early breakfast is followed by a boat ride in the best area in the world for jaguar spotting
looking for signs of recent jaguar activity on the river banks.

After lunch, return to the boat looking for the mighty big cat and other interesting wildlife such as Capybaras, Black Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, Caimans and several types of bird species. Return to accommodations after sunset. The Pantanal is famed for its dramatic sunsets – a photographer’s delight!

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Dag 3 Jaguar Camp/Wildlife Lodge

Jaguar searching + transfer + walking tour

After an early breakfast, our last river safari on a great location with the highest density of
jaguars and jaguar sightings in the entire Pantanal.

A break for lunch will be followed by a transfer to a Wildlife Lodge.

After check-in and a short rest we go on a walking trip until sundown.
Dinner is followed by a night safari with our exclusive safari vehicle. We use a spotlight to detect animals such as crab-eating foxes, tapirs, caiman and nocturnal birds. Stops will also be made in order to experience the magical sounds of the Pantanal at night.

Overnight at the lodge.

 

Dag 4 Wildlife Lodge

Sunrise activity + Ecological Trails + Night Safari

Early morning start with a safari trip at sunrise. After breakfast, enjoy a nice ecological trail on
the grounds of the lodge.

Lunch and a little siesta.

In the afternoon a boat ride (may be substituted by a horseback ride) looking for more wildlife species until sunset. Dinner will be followed by a night safari with our exclusive open safari vehicle.

Overnight at the lodge.

 

Dag 5 Wildlife Lodge/Cuiaba

Ecological trail + Walking trip + Transfer

Early morning start with a safari trip. Breakfast will be followed by an ecological trail. After
lunch, transfer to Cuiabá. Drop off at the airport or city hotel depending on client’s preference.

 

 

Information
Our tours have been the highlight of many visitors’ trips to the Northern Pantanal. We have shown visitors some of the most spectacular wildlife spots in the area which offer excellent close-up viewing of some of the world's rarest
wildlife. Our tour guides are local biologists and naturalists who are trained to deliver tours to an exceptionally high standard. Our activities are flexible to ensure that you see as wide a variety of animals as possible.

 

Located at the Porto Jofre Region, the Jaguar
Camp is set on a pristine location for wildlife and provides a very good chance of spotting the elusive and impressive jaguar. We have a strong record of success in locating this amazing animal for our guests to see during these special tours.

Jaguar Camp Facilities:

- Rooms with air conditioning, minibar and en-suite bathrooms
- Restaurant with traditional cuisine;
- Jaguar searching boats with VHF radios.

 

Our exclusive Jaguar Searching Boats are comfortable and well equipped with VHF radios to provide the perfect opportunity to enter and explore the Pantanal most isolated locations. Porto Jofre, so well-known to our boat operators and tour guides, offers the ideal shelter for jaguars. Other animals may also be spotted such
as caymans, river otters, monkeys and numerous bird species.

 

The second part of this package includes wildlife encounters at on of the following wildlife lodges:
- Pousada Piuval

- Pousada Rio Claro

- Pouso Alegre

 

The lodge used depend on avaliability, weather, river conditions, group decisions, seasons and sometimes other circumstances beyond our control.  

 

The trails surrounding the lodges allow guests to explore a variety of ecosystems including savannah, wetland and woodland. Hiking on these trails allows you to experience the incredible flora and fauna of the Pantanal. Grassland and forest species such as deer and the South American coati are abundant and bird watching along the trails is also excellent.

The lodges used in the second part of this package are located on the Transpantaneira Road, a privileged position to ensure great photographic opportunities during all the activities planned.
Lodges features rooms with air conditioner or ceiling fans and private bathroom, a relaxing area with hammocks and a restaurant with Pantanal traditional cuisine (water and beverages are not included in the package).

 

Our exclusive Safari Vehicles guarantee the ultimate safari experience. They are designed with tiered seating so nobody’s view is blocked. Along for the ride are our experienced drivers and our naturalist guides who will take you on unforgettable safari trips.
